"Yes She Can" Politik Workshops im März und April!

Young voices in international politics

Our workshop on international youth politics was also a complete success! 🎉 Thanks to Jana Berchtold & Markus Wane, our mentees learned how young people can actively shape global politics. A special thank you to the Federal Youth Council for making their space available for this valuable event.

We wish Markus Wane every success in his mandate as Austrian Youth Delegate and are excited to see who he has inspired to apply in the future!

A Visit to Vienna City Hall – Local Politics in Action

On April 4th, we welcomed a group of curious and engaged participants to discover Vienna City Hall together. Meeting at Wien Info on Friedrich-Schmidt-Platz, we explored the historic halls of this political landmark under the guidance of Ursula Berner from the Green Education Workshop (Grüne Bildungswerkstatt Wien).

Ursula led a thought-provoking tour that offered a behind-the-scenes look at local politics and highlighted the City of Vienna’s efforts and strategies in climate policy. The tour sparked meaningful conversations and helped young participants understand how decisions at the local level are made – and how they can get involved themselves.

A Personal Exchange with Henrieke Brandstötter – Politics as a Career PathJust a week later, on April 11th, we hosted a special Meet & Greet with Henrieke Brandstötter, Member of the National Council (NEOS).Henrieke shared her journey into politics as a career changer, offering an honest and inspiring look into her experiences in the Austrian parliament. She spoke about the challenges she faced, the motivations that drive her, and what it means to represent people in a political system that is often seen as difficult to access. Participants had the chance to ask questions, network, and learn firsthand what a career in politics might look like – even without a traditional political background.

Thank You for Joining Us!These two events marked important milestones in our mission to open doors, share knowledge, and empower young people to see themselves as part of the political process. We’re grateful to everyone who joined us – and especially to Ursula Berner and Henrieke Brandstötter for their time, insights, and encouragement.

Stay tuned for more empowering workshops and events as part of our “Yes She Can” journey – because change starts with participation, and every voice matters.
