The Position

The "Yes She Can" program, organized by the African Cultural Foundation, is dedicated to empowering young Black women and girls in Austria through leadership training, mentorship, and skill-building workshops.

The "Yes She Can" program, organized by the African Cultural Foundation, is dedicated to empowering young Black women and girls in Austria through leadership training, mentorship, and skill-building workshops. This program aims to inspire the next generation of female leaders by fostering confidence, resilience, and professional development.

Your Role

Support the mentorship program by liaising with mentors and mentees, organizing mentoring sessions, tracking progress, and helping to ensure the mentoring relationships are productive and impactful.

  • Assist in planning and coordinating workshops, mentorship sessions, and events for the program​

  • Collaborate with the program manager to design and develop materials for participants

  • Support outreach efforts to engage potential participants, mentors, and partners

  • Manage communication with mentors, participants, and external stakeholders

  • Assist with social media content creation to promote the program

  • Prepare reports and assist in the evaluation of program outcomes

  • Support logistical tasks, including scheduling and venue coordination

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Passionate about women’s empowerment and social impact

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Interest in African communities and diaspora issues

  • Experience in event planning or project management is a plus

  • Familiarity with social media platforms
